Gold drop: cooperate with your king

First player moves. The opposing king is on e9, yours on e7, and you have a gold in hand. A piece in hand can be dropped on an empty square. Coordinates use this page’s letters and numbers. Select the gold in hand, then its destination.

Select your piece, then a highlighted destination. To place a captured piece back on the board (a drop), first select it from your pieces in hand below the board, then choose a destination. Each attempt stays visible until you restart.
