Texas Hold'em · Play with friends
The host creates a room and sends the invitation link; friends open it and the host lets them in. Play starts once everyone is seated. No account needed.

Connection notes and troubleshooting
Link mode: the PeerJS public service passes on connection details (its defaults also try third-party STUN and may relay through TURN); once connected, match data travels between the players. If it never connects (for example the service is blocked on your network), switch to invitation + reply codes below. The text-exchange notes below apply to code mode only.
No registration. Code mode (described here) uses no backend or signaling service. The host exchanges a separate text pair with each of three friends. LAN is recommended; cross-network success is not guaranteed without relays. Each device needs a valid HTTPS site: localhost refers only to that device, and plain HTTP on a LAN IP lacks the secure context required for refresh recovery. Share connection text privately with your table only.
The trusted host browser owns the deck and rules. This is not a cheat-proof server or a money game. Disconnection freezes play. Recovery requires the original host and three guests, each with their tab’s save and fresh invitations.
After play starts, progress is saved in this tab’s sessionStorage. The host save contains the full deck order for each hand and credentials; a guest saves only their view and credential. Never export or share saves. After refresh choose “Restore this tab’s match.” The host makes fresh invitations for the original seats; guests restore first, then paste their own invitation. Once all return, the host continues the original match. Closing the tab, clearing data or blocked storage can lose the save. Device migration is not supported.

Connection notes and troubleshooting
Link mode: the PeerJS public service passes on connection details (its defaults also try third-party STUN and may relay through TURN); once connected, match data travels between the two players. If it never connects (for example the service is blocked on your network), switch to invitation + reply codes below.
Invitation codes contact no PeerJS, STUN or TURN service. Each device must first open a valid HTTPS site on the same LAN. Localhost is only for this device; plain HTTP on a LAN IP lacks the secure context required for refresh recovery. Guest Wi-Fi isolation, firewalls or browser address protection can block direct connections; cross-network access is not guaranteed.
Practice only, no real money. The host browser deals and adjudicates: trust your host; this is not a cheat-proof server. Both players agree before each next hand; balances carry over, 5/10 blinds alternate, and the match ends when someone runs out.
After a refresh or disconnect: once play starts this tab saves the host’s deck and actions or the guest’s own view. Keep both original tabs and follow the Previous match prompt to swap a fresh invitation and reply. Never share saves; closing the tab, clearing browser data or changing devices may prevent recovery.
